Davis Francis is a High-flyer legal practitioner, Holder of Master of Law in Science of Law from Tongji University – Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property (SICIP) in Partnership with World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Holder of Master of Science in International Trade Policy and Trade Law offered by Lund University in partnership with Trade Policy Training Centre in Africa (TRAPCA) under auspices of Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI), Holder of Postgraduate Diploma, in International Trade Policy and Trade Law, Advanced Level, Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation , Postgraduate Certificate in International Trade and Development and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B(Hons) holder of Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practices of The Law school of Tanzania, and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B(Hons).
He had spent ten (10) years in researching into and writing on Intellectual Property Rights, taxation, and Investments in Tanzania. He has extensively researched global intellectual property systems and cross cutting issues of IP law in Africa and recent global economy at large. He brings to the industry and legal practices a unique modern expertise in the IP Law, International Trade law, taxation and investments that reflects the current global economy and has mediating skills, legal practices, unassailable skills and knowledge in the IP and regulatory legal frameworks.
Davis Francis is dynamic experienced lawyer with more than Twelve (15) years in legal practices and has previously successfully served as Senior Resident Magistrate, The Judiciary of United Republic of Tanzania and worked as intern with EastAfrican Tanzania Attorneys before joining 255 law studio.
